Proudon Islands

Lawless Land south of The Republic, the main island, The Island of Proudon where the region gets its name is a libertarian society, but that is loosely interpreted. Some of the neighboring islands harbor many pirates and the people of Proudon do nothing about it because they leave Proudon alone. Many of the pirates in the area actually dock up and use Proudon as their primary point for getting supplies and sell plundered goods to the locals. This interaction lead many natives to Proudon to take up jobs as privateers.
